Royal jelly is a gel-like liquid poured into the oral cavity from a pair of glands on the heads of young bees aged 4-14 days. All one-day-old male and female larvae are fed with royal jelly for one day orally. However, 5-6 of the worker bee larvae randomly selected as the queen bee are fed with pure royal jelly until the 8th day. Young worker bees secreting royal jelly have different routine concentrations of sugar and biotin secreted by bees of different ages. All of them feed by visiting their main candidates.

It is a product containing abundant protein, vitamin and mineral substances, which is formed by the cracking of the male reproductive organs of pollen flowers by the bees by secreting enzymes, and the collection of pollen particles on the hind legs of the bee. Bees collect it as a protein source for their young. Proteins taken from the hive are dried in an oven and ground. It is consumed by mixing with honey or used as a chewable tablet by making tablets.

Honey contains invert sugar (invert sugar, simple glucose and fructose) due to its natural structure. As simple glucose and fructoses get closer to each other, crystallization (sugar) increases. There are also other factors that affect crystallization. These; a- Ambient temperature; The incubation temperature in honey is 14 degrees. Crystallization increases as it approaches this temperature in positive and negative directions. b- The honey is not filtered well c- The water rate in the honey is high Crystallized honey is dissolved by a bain-marie system at a maximum of 45?48 degrees and restored.

Flower honey; Nectar collected by bees from flowers. In the stomach of these nectars, the honeycomb cells are filled by making some changes with the enzymes. Pine honey is glandular honey. If the cotton cosnile beetle lays its eggs in the bark of pines in the south-west such as Muğla, Marmaris and Fethiye towards spring in the winter, the eggs crack at the appropriate humidity and temperature and the larvae hatch, and these larvae pierce the trunk of the tree and produce a large amount of carbohydrates and use some of this carbohydrate itself. It consists of taking this excreted liquid and turning it into honey by the bees. Pine honey is rich in carbohydrates. It crystallizes late. Flower honey crystallizes earlier.
